pointment in January knowing that
he would only serve the unexpired
portion of Position 7.
The January appointment was to
fill the position vacated by Joseph
Natowitz, who resigned to take a
year-long fellowship at a chemistry
institute in Germany.
Feldman had served for a six-
month period in 1976. He said he
resigned because of health prob
lems, but had recovered when the
board asked him to serve in January.
Three candidates have filed for
Position 7: Walt Hardin, Herman
Brown, and Bill Wasson. The filing
deadline is March 1.
Feldman also endorsed Bruce
Robeck’s candidacy for the other
open position. Robeck is currently
serving as president of the board.
He is the only candidate that has
filed for Position 6.
