When lovely Tracy Sowders sat down to play her rendition of “Clair de Lune, she and the keyboard seemed to be one. The moving De bussy piece was played with much feeling and sensitivity, showing off the impressionistic style for which Debussy is so well known. The overture from “Morning, Noon, and Night,” along with “Morceau Symphonique,” intro duced the strong trombone section which filled the theater with re markable harmony and style. Selections from “My Fair Lady” made the old feel young, and the young feel old when the hand glided through tunes like “The Rain in Spain” and the loverly’ “Embassy Waltz.” The band, composed of students and faculty members, is under the direction of Major Joe McMullen, assistant director of the Texas Aggie Band.
