The NCAA postponed Tuesday’s scheduled hearing because of a “misunderstanding about who could attend, said NCAA spokes man Tom Hanson. Neither the NCAA nor Oklahoma State would elaborate on the reason for the postponement. “The NCAA council regrets the misunderstanding. The council will make no further comments regard ing the matter, said Hanson. He said the council will try to hold a special meeting to consider the matter before the NCAA’s January convention, but if an ac ceptable date can not he found then the matter would he considered in Atlanta Jan. 11-13. The NCAA statement followed a report by the association’s commit tee on infractions.
