Lt. Kenneth Van Hoy said the 35 troopers were needed for other duties, particularly during the July 4 weekend. The troopers, local police, FBI agents and civilian volunteers are seeking Gene Leroy Hart, 33, a convicted rapist who has eluded lawmen for four years since break ing out of the Mayes County Jail at Pryor.
