He said there is “a difference of opinion between me and Coach Royal,” on recruiting violations. I don't believe that all colleges are going out of their way to break the rules,” Bellard said. “Rules are broken, but mostly through technicalities and because the rules are so complex, Bellard said. I think that’s true of most all universities. There are some schools that contradict that, but they are isolated cases.” When Bellard worked for Royal at Texas, they put together the wishbone-T offense before Bellard came to Texas A&M five years ago. Royal retired from coaching last fall after 20 years UT. Pfaff was instrumental in raising the funds necessary to complete payments on Kyle Field football stadium. Induction ceremonies for Cain and Pfaff will be held at halftime of the Maroon-White football game April 23 at Kyle Field.
