A year in residence may consist of the Fall and Spring semesters or one of the above and a full summer ses sion (both the first and second terms). The hours passed at the preliminary grade report period on March 23rd may be used in satisfying this ninety-two hour requirement. Students qualifying under this regulation should leave their names with the ring clerk. Room Seven, Richard Coke Building. This should be done prior to March 23rd in order for all records to be checked to determine ring eligibility. (Any student having completed ninety-two (92) hours at the end of the Fall ’76 semester may order at any time. There is never a dead-line once the hours have been completed, with the exception of a monthly mail ing date.) Graduate students are eligible to order with proof (receipt) that they have filed for graduation. Orders for mid-semester will be taken by the ring c lerk starting March 23, 1977, and will continue until April 26, 1977. Students who do not place their order during this period may order after final grades are posted. All rings must be paid for in full when the order is placed. Please bring mid-semester grade re ports along when ready to order. Anyone having failed to leave their names in advance and fail to bring grade report will be asked to return later to allow time for records to be checked. The rings should arrive at the Registar’s Office on June 28, 1977. All rings ordered, regardless of whether on March 23rd or April 26th will arrive at the same time. The ring clerk is on duty from 8 a.m. to 12 noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. of each week, Monday through Friday. However, in order for records to be checked, orders must be placed prior to 11:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. We hope this information will be helpful and extend our congratulations. Edwin H.
