Though Blanc’s voices-for Sylves

have been around more than four

Great Issues Chairman Tracey

The 69-year-old Blanc grew up in
Portland, Ore., “entertaining stu

laughs and lousy grades.” While a
teenager he created the cackle later
to become Woody Woodpecker.
Since 1961, Americans have also
encountered the Blanc touch in
commercials created by the staff of

Why are medications given for
the flu so different from patient to
patient? R.C.
Although all flu patients may
seem to be suffering from the same
symptoms, each case is usually dif

basically the same purpose,” said
Dr. Claude Goswick, director of
Beutel Health Center.
“Antibiotics would be given to
some patients to prevent se
infections,” he said. “Diabel
would be an example.”
