Volleyers win in
Austin
scrimmages

The women’s volleyball team had
a successful weekend of competition
in Austin winning all of their scrim
mages against the University of
Texas, Incarnate Word and Texas
Lutheran College.
The Aggies were totally dominat
ing as they clobbered Texas (22-13,
25-9), Texas Lutheran College (20-9,
23-17) and Incarnate Word (19-5,
18-9).
The scrimmages did not count in
the official standings, leaving the
Ags’ season record at 2-2.
Tonight the Aggies will travel to
Waco for matches against Howard
Payne College and Baylor Univer
sity. The match-up against Baylor
will be especially interesting since
the Bearettes are boasting one of
their strongest teams ever.
