In the words of the 20-year-old Olympic gold medal winner, she will have to skate close to her peak every single night and three times on Saturdays. “Before the Olympics, she added, “it was all just for one night.” Prince gets permit to hunt out of season Prince Abdorreza Pahlevi, brother-in-law of the Shah of Iran, was issued a special permit to shoot two Columbian deer in the Trinity National Forest near Sacramento, Calif., for his coun try’s national museum. He is al lowed to hunt before the season opens Sept. 25, but he must have an observer present to make sure he doesn’t shoot anything except deer. U.S. musicians tour Soviet Union American conductors Thomas Schippers and Erich Leinsdorf are participating in a concert pro gram at the Grand Hall of Moscow’s Conservatoire. The tour is part of the USSR-USA cultural exchange. Leinsdorf is leading the New York Philhar monic Orchestra. Schippers has conducted 115 operas in Rome, Florence, Covent Gardens and other cities. African leaders meet South African Prime Minister John Vorster and Rhodesian Prime Minister Ian Smith met in Pretoria, South Africa for 4-% hours to discuss growing racial tension in southern Africa, the statement they issued after the talks gave no indication toward a settlement. Both ministers said points of view had been discussed bearing on the regional prob lems. Dog days hit Seattle Cleo Smith’s horseless carriage is his dog and buggy. The 71- year-old Smith uses Brutus, his 2-year-old Doberman Pinscher, to pull him to a grocery store in Seattle in a specially designed dog cart. Smith used a cardboard box to train Brutus. Now the dog knows the commands to turn right: gee; turn left: haw; slow down: easy; and faster: pull. Smith said the dog can pull up to 500 pounds. The dog never sleeps outside and has his own couch as a reward. Reporters barred rom Sinatra club fi Entertainer Frank Sinatra will not reverse a decision barring representatives of the Reno Eve ning Gazette and Nevada State Journal from his supper club shows in Stateline, Nev. There are reports that the writer is planning to settle in Vermont. Sheffield to wed Prince Charles Two newspapers report that Prince Charles, 27, heir to the British throne, will marry 25- year-old society beauty Davina Sheffield when his naval service ends next year. The London Daily Mail and the Daily Mirror said Friday they got the informa tion from friends of the prince and Miss Sheffield. Kennedy charged with ticket mutilation Ethel Kennedy, widow of Sen. , Robert Kennedy, must appear in court to answer charges of mutilating a parking ticket. Mrs. Kennedy has been served a war rant and is scheduled to appear in Massachusetts’ First District Court on Sept. 20. Death Camilo Ponce, president of Ecuador from 1956 to 1960, died yesterday of a heart attack. He was 64. He had been considered as a presidential candidate to re store civilian rule next year.
