Bickham, a Baylor prospect from Plano, completed 4 of 10 passes for 114 yards and was named the game’s most valuable player. He had 120 yards negated from his pass ing total because of penalties and saw a 33-yard touchdown aerial slip through the hands of Dickey. Dickey was the leading hall car rier in the game, gaining 56 yards in 17 attempts. The South defense keyed on the former Bryan star, preventing him from showing much of the form he has become touted for.
