“To Die in Madrid,” a documen
tary film on the Spanish Civil War,
will be shown in Room 601 of the
Rudder Tower on Monday at 7:30
p.m. The black and white film has
long been banned in Spain because it

show honeybees see colors in the
light spectrum ranging from yellow
to ultraviolet. Honeybees cannot
distinguish the longer wave lengths
of red and orange.
Eisner said that flowers produce
ultraviolet patterns which serve as
“nectar guides ”. These guides direct
the bees to the nectar which they use
as food. The guides also enable bees
to function in flower pollination.
Eisner addressed approximately
60 people in the chemical and
mechanical defenses of insects and
the use of plant chemicals by insects

6:30, followed by a Talent Show at
8:00. They will be held on the second
floor of the MSC and there will he no
admission charge for either.
A soccer game between the Or
ganization of Arab Students and the
African Students Association will
begin at 5:00 p.m. Thursday on the
soccer field.
“The World Speaks on Hunger”
will be the subject of a panel discus
sion Thursday evening at 7:30. Stu
dents from different nations, includ
ing one from the United States, will
participate in the round-table dis
cussion in Room 601 of the Rudder
Tower.
The International Week will end
Friday with a film on the People’s
Republic of China. “One-Fourth of
Humanity” is a documentary by
Edgar Snow, an American journalist.
It will be shown at 8:00 p.m. in the
Rudder Theater. Admission will be
$1.00.
