Don Reeser was Aggie high point man with four, followed by Bill Yates with two points and two assists and Boh Leland with one assist. Doug Adamson had two assists for the Aggies. “Steve Engle played well in goal for us,” said Coach Dennis Fosdick of Engle’s 10-save performance. Fosdick however would not single out anyone else for effort. “Nobody really played well. >SMU was a good team and we kind of looked past them. We were just flat," said Fosdick. Fosdick said Blake Hinman and Jim Yates were still worn out from the extended road trip to California. The Ags returned on Sunday. Fosdick wouldn’t take anything away from SMU, however. “They played an excellent game. We fi nally got someone in the state we can play with. We were definitely flat. Even the referees had to get used to playing the new rules. We had to bring copies back with us and they’ve only had two days to go over them,” said Fosdick. The freshman team beat St. Mark’s last night after the varsity game 11-8. “They did a pretty good job,” said Fosdick. “They gained lots of experience.” The next foe for the Aggies will be Texas, who comes to College Sta tion next Tuesday. The freshmen will start things off at 6:30 followed by the varsity at 7:30. The Ags have already beaten Texas 16-7 in Austin earlier this season. Fosdick noted, “We were playing the bench a lot. The frosh won 4-3 in Austin and the return matchup promises to be ex citing. Panel of Professional Predictors PAT DR. GERARD DR.
