Bill passed about tapes WASHINGTON (AP) — Legisla tion prohibiting destruction of former President Richard M. Nixon’s tapes and assuring court ac cess to the tapes and related docu ments was passed by the House Tuesday. The House acted by voice vote, sending the measure to the Senate, which has passed similar but not identical legislation. The bill overrides an agreement between the General Services Ad ministration and Nixon which pro vided, among other things, that the tapes be destroyed on Nixon’s death or Sept. 1, 1984, whichever came first. The new legislation would re quire congressional authorization for destruction of the tapes or documents. imft ct-etne ill/ pi cja| rihoust "tfV/ + C0 iytT/ GVlC ceJ^j-eT The Symphonic Band includes musicians from all parts of the cam pus and all student classifications. ! f The band has numerous all-state | and all-region recognized musicians [ with many years of musical experi- ^ ence. 1 Admission to the concert will be 50 cents per student and $1 for others.
