Rollie White Coliseum. Scruggs, who split with long-time partner Lester Flatt over the direc tion of their music to form his own band, has expanded his style since his Opry days. He and the Revue now play blues, rock, jazz, modern country and pop, complete with electrified instruments and drums. Scruggs’ hand includes three of his sons. Gary Scruggs is lead singer and plays electric bass, harmonica and guitar. Randy Scruggs, who helps with composing and arrang ing, plays guitar, five-string banjo and bass. Scruggs’ youngest son, Steve, plays bass and banjo hut only performs when on vacation from school. The other members of the hand are Jody Maphis, drums, and Josh Graves, dohro guitar. Father Ryan’s address comes as United Nations debate on Palestine opens in New York and violence continues to flare in the Middle East. LeRoy Capps, vice president of Tenneco Inc.’s treasury division. Capps is on the first panel at a graduate accounting conference on the fifth floor of Rudder Tower. A banquet highlights the first conference day with Saturday’s itinerary adjourning early for the 1:30 p.m. football clash between the Aggies and Rice.
