Frustrated lover coached by Bogart
‘Play It Again, Sam 9 romantic comedy, last for Eston

Shy, frustrated lover, Allan
Felix gets his coaching from the
accomplished master of any situa
tion and American folk hero,
Humphrey Bogart, in the Aggie
Players’ performance of “Play It
Again, Sam.”
This romantic comedy, written
by Woody Allen, is the finale pro
duction for director C. K. Esten,
who will retire in August from his
position as Chairman of the The
ater Arts Section, under the Eng
lish Dept.
Allan Felix (Carl Childress) is
a film critic for “Film Quarterly”
and sees himself as a sensitive
artist who will one day do some
thing really meaningful in cinema
or literature. His big problem is
his belief that women find him
unattractive, which inhibition is
destroying his already foundering
love life.
Into this situation comes Bo
gart (Harry Gooding) as an ap
parition perceived only by Felix
and the apparition of Felix’s
wife. Prodding his protege in typi
cal Bogart fashion, the master
gets Felix into a fine experience
which boosts the young jerk’s self

Bond) flashes through the show
on his way to or from innumerable
business engagements leaving his
wife Linda (Karen Miller) to
help their forlorn friend through
his readjustment to the swinging
life of an eligible bachelor.

cently opened a new remote com
puting center, the Zachry Com
puting Center, or ZCC, located in
room 30-C of the Zachry Engi
neering Center.
The ZCC is equipped with an
IBM 3780 card reader and printer
which is connected via telephone
line to the IBM 360/65, located, at
the Data Processing Center. The
3780 reads or prints at a rate of
300 cards or lines per minute. It
does not do both simultaneously.
The ZCC also contains (4) key
punch machines, and a Date! APL
terminal.
The hours of operation are
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday,
8 to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 to 5 p.m.
On Tuesdays and Thursdays the
hours are 8 to 9:15 a.m. and 11:30
a.m. to 5 p.m. After two weeks
of training operators, the sched
ule will change to 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.,
Monday through Friday.
The space for the ZCC has been
provided by the Electrical Engi
neering department. Therefore,
all users should strive to keep the
ZCC in its present condition. The
ZCC is one of three remote cen
ters operated by the DPC, the
other two are the TCC, Teague
Computing Center, and the RCC,
Remote Computing Center. The
addition of the ZCC will release
some of the congestion at the
other remote centers, as well as,
be more accommodating for those
users located in and around the
Zachry Center.

gression towards a more natural
and workable relationship with a
woman. They begin with his wife
Nancy (Martha McKemie) who
just left him, and end with a new
neighbor and kindred soul Bar
bara (Janice Smith). The spec
trum ranges from an absurdly
flighty fling with a go go dancer
(Nancy Gandy) to a tragically
abortive encounter with a spaced-
out intellectual art freak (Deb
bie Hodges).
Felix imagines himself awak
ening desire in a “frigid” woman,
his “Dream Sharon” (Jennifer
Rick), only to bungle his blind
date with the real Sharon (Pam-
