This organization works at such varied roles as clerks for the Student Government Book Exchange, helpers at the Blood Drive and voting agents during elections. The noon buffet will be contin ued as before. Cherry cited a lack of evening clients and increasing interest in using the facility for catered events in ending the night serv ice. He said the Tower would be available for special catered events in the evening through the Department of Food Services. Great Issues Great Issues will present Ger man journalist Joachim Schwelien in a Thursday lecture on “How The Dollar Fell.” Schwelien will speak from 12 noon to 1 p.m. in Rooms 225 and 226 of the Memorial Student Cen ter, announced Great Issues Chairman John Hoover. The MSC committee will also present Williams D. Ruckelshaus, former Environmental Protection Agency director and U. S. Deputy Attorney General, Feb. 13 in con junction with SCONA XIX. Other spring semester speak ers will be announced. Vacancies in SG Three vacancies opened up on the Student Government this week. The sophomore College of Ag riculture position of Karl Kuy kendall became vacant, as Kuy kendall resigned, citing academic reasons. Two graduate student positions on the SG Judicial Board are also open, according to SG President Randy Ross. Poisoned candies for sale WASHINGTON O*’)—The Food and Drug Administration said Tuesday that Canadian chocolate blamed for at least 47 cases of food poisoning in the United States is being recalled from the market. The FDA said that thousands of chocolate balls, wrapped in multicolored metal foil have been associated with a salmonella ill ness which had been rare in this country.
