Century Club Luncheon Scheduled for Duncan Hall The annual Century Club lunch eon will be held Sept. 15 at A&M in conjunction with the Aggie- Wichita State football opener. Dr. John M. Prescott, dean of TAMU’s College of Science, will be guest speaker of the event sponsored by the Association of Former Students. More than 500 persons are ex pected for the 4:30 p. m. event in the east wing of Duncan Hall. Entertainment will be provided by the Singing Cadets, directed by Robert L. Boone and accompanied by Mrs. June Biering. Dinner music will be by Mrs. Fern Ham- man, organist. Tickets at $5 each are available at the Association of Former Stu dents office in the Memorial Stu dent Center. The Century Club forms the foundation of the annual fund of the association, according to Buck Weirus, executive director. It was founded April 21, 1965. Century Club membership includes TAMU former students and friends who contribute $100 a year to the Association annual fund. Randy Matson, annual fund di rector, said the Century Club cur rently lists 3,350 active members, including over 1,000 new members this year. The Sept. 15 luncheon honors Century Club members and helps keep them informed about A&M. The occasion also provides the opportunity to introduce the Cen tury Club program to other alumni.
