The game is sponsored by The
Houston Poet dmritiee, Inc., a

Houston charities. Over the past
fWe years, more than 9100,000
has been donated to selected
charities as a result of this or

In this sixth year of offering

The Bears — an
backer Dick Butkos, in particular
noted for physically dr

“wrecking crew” reputation, they
are faced with the Oilers’ 2-1
edge in the record of the teams’

The Oilers are eager to make
that record 2-1, especially with
their new coach. Bill Peterson, at
the sidelines. This incentive, phis
their experienced rookies of last
year and new uniforms, should
make the Oilers a worthy match
for the Bears.
The recipients of this year’s
game proceeds are Big Brothers
of Houston and the Neighbor
hood Centers-Day Oars Associa
tion, both United Fund affiliates.
Former AftM players in the
game will be Roes Brupbecher,
a third year linebacker for the
Bears, and David Hoot, a rookie
safety for the Oilers. Houston
picked Hoot up after he was cut
by the Los Angeles Rama
