are Frank Sinatra-starring “Rob
in and the Seven Hoods” and
“Ocean’s 11,” John Wayne in
“Donovan’s Reef” and “The Mouse
That Roared,” with Peter Sellers
and Jean Seburg. In the same
category are “Bridge on the River
Kwai” and “The Fountainhead,”
featuring Gary Cooper and Pat
ricia Neal.
More recent hits include John
Wayne’s “Chisum,” “Born Free,”
“Viva Max” and “The Great
Race,” among others. Science fic
tion such as “Forbidden Planet”
and “The Day the Earth Stood
Still” and Vincent Price horror
movies are scheduled.
Double features with the show
including Aggies and about A&M,
“We’ve Never Been Licked,” are
docketed for June 14 and July 26.
Open dates are June 30-July 4
and July 11-12.

Fourteen A&M faculty mem
bers have been selected for the
1972 edition of “Outstanding Ed
ucators of America.”
Nominations were made by uni
versity administrators, with each
selected faculty member’s biog
raphy appearing in the annual
volume.
Educators from TAMU include
Dr. Garland H. Cannon, professor
of English; Dr. Wulf Koepke, as
sociate professor of modern lan
guages; Dr. Charles L. Boyd, as
sociate professor of veterinary
medicine and surgery; Dr. Floron
C. Paries Jr., associate professor
of veterinary parasitology, and
Dr. Kenneth Pierce, professor of
veterinary pathology.
In addition, Dr. Clinton A. Phil
lips, finance head; Dr. Robert L.
Skrabanek, sociology and anthro
pology head; Carroll D. Laverty,
professor of English; Dr. Robert
R. Reilley, associate professor of
educational psychology, and Dr.
L. B. Treybig, professor of math.
Also, chemistry professors Dr.
Roger D. Whealy, Dr. James K.
Gladden and Dr. Dwight C. Con
way, and Walter S. Manning, as
sociate professor of accounting.
A&M registrar
named as advisor
to foreign school
A&M Registrar Robert A. Lacey
will serve as a special advisor
during June to the Graduate
Schools of Agricultural Sciences
at Casterlar, Argentina.
He will work with the director
of the new graduate schools in
developing administration and
records systems.
The Argentina college, estab
lished a year ago, is receiving
technical assistance from a con
sortium made up of educators
from TAMU, Michigan State and
Pennsylvania State Universities.
Lacey also will be in Balcarce,
Argentina, to work with the ani
mal science branch of the grad
uate schools. That program is di
rected by TAMU faculty mem
bers.
