applications for loans from the overseas loan fund.
These loans are available for summer travel and/
or study abroad by Texas A&M students.

A&M swimmers dominate meet with TCU
A&M won seven of the 12 events
and went on to defeat TCU, BB
SS, in a dual swimming meet here
Wednesday.
Coach Dennis Fosdick said the
swim team would not compete in
the Southwest AAU meet in Dal
las this weekend, as previously
scheduled.
Fosdick said the Aggies would
bypass the meet to get in needed
practice sessions here.

Intramural leader
named by office
L-l is the participation point
leader in intramurals as of Feb.
8 in a tightly-contested battle
for the overall championship.
L-l has 605 points with A-l
running second with 695. A tie
between Squadron 2 and F-2 for
third place has each unit with
580 points. Other leaders in or
der are F-l, Sqdn. 8, Sqdn. 5,
Sqdn. 11, Sqdn. 12, Sqdn. 9, G-l,
and D-2 in the top 12.
The points are given on the
basis of championships won and
how well a team participates in
the various sports activities of
fered throughout the intramural
program. The points given so far
are only points received for sports
that have already been completed.
The Intramural Office also said
that Feb. 18 is the deadline for
softball entries. Play begins
March 8.
Also announced was the entry
deadline for tennis participants
in both upperclassman and fresh
man brackets. Entry blanks will
be available in the Intramural
Office Feb. 10, and the entry
deadline will be set at Feb. 22,
with no late entries accepted.
