I THE BATTALION Wednesday, September 8, 1971 College Station, Texas Page 3 I NUDISTS SUN BATHE on the shore of the Po River in northern Italy. Italian nudists are coming out of the shadows and launching, somewhat shyly, a tradition-shattering offensive against the Pope, the Roman Catholic Church and all those who think nude and lewd go together. (AP Wirephoto) Medina case reaching end as last witnesses are heard ft. McPherson, Ga. <^>— The government will begin wind ing up its case against Capt. Er nest L. Medina on Wednesday when his My Lai court-martial resumes after an 11-day recess. A ruling by the military judge, however, will sharply restrict Brisentine’s testimony. Among the government’s final 'witnesses will be Robert Brisen- tine Jr., Baltimore, Md., an Army Polygraph examiner who admin istered 2 lie detector tests to Medina. Before recessing the court-mar tial after two weeks of testimony, Col. Kenneth Howard ruled that Brisentine may not allude to the actual results of the lie detector test he gave the captain while the Army investigated his case. Howard ruled that Brisentine may testify only about the inter view he conducted with Medina, 35, of Montrose, Colo., before ad ministering the test. The inter view spanned 14 hours. Medina is accused of assault ing one My Lai villager by fir ing a rifle over his head into a tree, personally shooting one ci vilian, ordering the slaying of another and failing to intervene while his troops, including Lt. William L. Galley Jr., killed at least 100 others.
