Many times a woman may date
a guy she would really like to
■impress, but she just does not
know how she should dress, act
or cook for him. Astrology can
provide an answer for her di
lemma.
Everyone is born under one of
the twelve astrological signs.
This determines his characteris
tics and, therefore, the character
istics he likes in other people.
If your boy friend is difficult
to understand, some clues that
may help you are below, along
with some famous men born un
der each sign.
The Aries man is a man with
a temper. He is a romantic,
though, in search of the ideal
woman. When he finds her, he
will promptly put her on a pedes
tal. He appreciates a beautiful
woman, who must have varied
interests and be able to match
wits with him. She must, how
ever, be conventional and con
form to his high standards.
He is a stickler for doing the
right thing at the right time. He
detests deception of any kind and
will never forgive it in a woman.
Although he is an exacting and
demanding creature, he is the
kind of man most women want
as a lover or husband—distin
guished, proud, faithful, and very
passionate.
How do you make an Aries no
tice you? Always dress for the
occasion (he loves fire-engine
red). He likes to entertain and
needs a good hostess to help him.
Because he loves a challenge, be
well read and know at least one
subject well. He loves the chase
so let him be the aggressor. Do
not make his conquest too easy.
Famous Arians are Marlon
Brando, Warren Beatty, James
Garner, Omar Sharif, Gregory
Peck and Peter Ustinov.
The Taurus man has a thought
ful, emotional nature and values
his home over almost everything
else in life. He is a good provid
er; sometimes he amasses a for
tune. In return, he expects a well
cared for home and, above all,
good food. He is the epitome of
a man whose heart can be won
through his stomach, so if you
cannot cook, learn how. All of
his five senses are highly devel
oped, so be sure the meals look
as attractive as they taste.
Since Venus rules this earth
sign, he loves everything that is
beautiful, especially women, so
always look your most alluring.
He is possessive, but does not like
possessiveness in women. He
loves the outdoors, so be a good
sport and a good partner.
Taurus men are highly suscep
tible to fragrance, so be sure to
wear his favorite perfume. De
velop your culinary skills. He
loves blues and greens, so plan
your wardrobe around these col
ors. Be feminine. He loathes
loud, aggressive women.
Some famous Taurus men are
Glenn Ford, James Mason, Perry
Como, Harry Belafonte, Robert
Morse and Salvador Dali.
The Gemini man is a poet and
gadabout who simply cannot bear
monotony. Variety is the spice of
life. The worst thing you can do
is bore him. He wants a woman
who is bright, quick-witted and
willing to move about.
He is flirtatious because he en
joys a new face. When he strays,
leave him alone and he will come
home wagging his tale (of woe)
behind him.
Amuse and intrigue him, but
never show a trace of possessive
ness. Keep him guessing—he
loves variety and the unexpected.
Keep up with the latest trends in
fashion. He loves his woman to
wear many faces.
Famous Geminis are Prince
Rainier, Hubert Humphrey, Bob
Hope, John Wayne, Pat Boone
and Tony Curtis.
The Cancer man is home-lov-

friends each day. (AP Wirephoto)
Amis contributes
James A. Amis Jr., system at
torney for the A&M System, is
one of 167 contributing authors to
the two-volume “Handbook of
College and University Admini
stration” newly published by Mc
Graw-Hill Book Co.
The handbook covers every ma
jor field of university administra
te college handbook
tion. Reviewers claim it offers
one of the most thorough over
views of college and university
administration.
Amis is author of Chapter 6,
“University as Farmer — Legal
Aspects of Agriculture.” He was
invited to write the 10-page chap
ter in the fall of 1967.
A women’s service sorority,
Omega Phi Alpha, has been form
ed at A&M. The sorority was
founded by Bill Cronrath, a senior
horticulture major and president
of Alpha Phi Omega, men’s serv
ice fraternity.
“The purpose of the sorority is
to promote leadership and friend
ship among girls by serving their
country, community, campus and
their chapter,” Cronrath said.
Last week Pam Faulkner was
elected president. Patricia Self,
counselor for women, was chosen
advisor.
This semester the girls are
working on being recognized by
the national office. They plan to
work with the Bryan Day Care
Center, collect magazines and de
liver mail for the campus hos
pital patients, and organize a
clothing drive for Mexia. Last
month the girls were hostesses
at the Alpha Phi Omega smoker.
The next meeting will be at
7:30 p.m. Monday in room 3A
in the Memorial Student Center.
The constitution and projects will
be discussed.
ing, so much so that you may
have trouble ever getting him to
leave the hearth. Ruled by the
Moon, he is highly emotional and
not easy to live with. He is rath
er fussy and critical and wants
things done his way. He can be
charm personified and he needs
very much to be loved and appre
ciated. He is overly sensitive to
ridicule, so never make fun of
him even in jest.
A good provider, he is usually
expert at putting figures togeth
er, so do not let him catch you
overspending (or overweight!).
He is conservative, so let that be
your guide in dress and manner.
How to appeal to him? Orga
nize little dinners for his busi
ness associates. He loves to en
tertain at home. Be a good out
door companion. Since he is a
water sign, his favorite sports
are probably sailing, skin diving
and water skiing. Buy him an
aquarium for his birthday.
Some famous Cancer men are
the Duke of Windsor* Nelson
Rockefeller, Van Cliburn, Red
Skelton, David Brinkley and Yul
Brynner.
The Leo man demands center
stage. A fire sign, he is very
temperamental, but music
soothes the beast in him. Find
out his favorite records and stock
up on them. He expects life to
revolve about him and will not
tolerate sharing the spotlight.
Quick to anger, he forgives easily
and never holds a grudge.
He is generous (almost to a
fault), thoughtful, and affection
ate, and for the right kind of
wife, he makes a marvelous hus
band. He likes a beautiful, ac
complished woman whom he can
show off. Play a little hard to
get; he likes a challenge. Show
him lots of affection—he needs
it—and he will give you lots in
return.
Sun colors — yellow, orange,
gold—please him. He has un
usually good taste in dress and
expects it in his woman. Life
will be a continuous adventure
with a Leo. You will never be
bored.
Famous Leos are Robert Tay
lor, Robert Mitchum, Ralph
Bunche, Yves St. Laurent, Jason
Robards and Peter O’Toole.
The Scorpio man is the sex
sign of the Zodiac. He makes a
very exciting partner and you
will never be bored. He has a
fine, constructive mind, but a
very jealous nature. He can never
get enough love and affection.
Some men of this sign work
tirelessly and often thanklessly

Series on Friday, Felbrua:
in Room 105 of the Geology Building,
interested persons are cordially invited to
for the benefit of the human
race. Show him you care by be
ing docile and yielding.
If you do snare this man, be
prepared for a tempestuous life.
He has strong appetites and ex
pects quality in everything. He
likes to be kept amused. His
most outstanding characteristic
is his sensuality. Appeal to his
senses with Oriental blends of
perfume. Be mysterious.
Some famous Scorpio men are
Pablo Picasso, the Shah of Iran,
Richard Burton, Johnny Carson,
Rock Hudson and Billy Graham.
The Sagitarrius man adores
beautiful women, especially those
with gorgeous legs. He loves to
travel. When he does succumb
to marriage, it will not be the
conventional kind. He does not
mind a working wife as long as
she does not neglect him.
He is not a domestic type. He
is adventurous, adores sports,
horses and gambling. A fire sign,
he has a fiery temperament but
forgives easily (look helpless
during his tirades). His nature
is honest but blunt. He is usually
very successful and puts work
before personal interests.
To please a Sagittarian, be un
derstanding and a good listener.
Do not be possessive, for he loves
his freedom. He has healthy, un
inhibited passions and a roving
eye.
Famous Sagittarians are the
Aga Khan, Joe DiMaggio, Kirk
Douglas, Dick Van Dyke, Frank
Sinatra and Ephrem Zimbalist
Jr.
The Capricorn man makes a
good husband and provider. He
loves his home. He is compan
ionable, but likes things “just so”
and can be critical and demand
ing. He is conservative, hard
working and thoughtful. Since
he is an earth sign, he loves the
great out-of-doors.
How to appeal to him ? Feed
him. He is a gourmet, so start
collecting cookbooks. He general
ly does not have to worry about
his weight. He likes a comforta
ble home done in earth tones,
browns, beiges, greens with ac
cents of orange or yellow.
Be conservative in your ap
pearance. He abhors flashiness
in design and in color. He hates
to be taken by surprise. Let him
have his evenings playing poker
with the boys and do not trail
around after him on the golf
course. He has an independent
nature and likes to spend some
time alone.
Some famous Capricornians are
Sandy Koufax, Jack Jones, Rob-

The Aquarius man is an ad
venturer, a visionary, a torch
bearer. Unlike Sagittarius, who
likes adventure for the sake of
excitement, this air sign loves
adventure of the mind, a great
humanitarian. The drawback is
that he might be more interested
in mankind as a whole than in
you as an individual.
But he is the kindest and most
generous of the signs and, while
he is not an especially ardent
lover, he treats his woman with
courtesy and consideration. Do
not expect him to be possessive
or overly domestic.
How to make him notice you?
Share his interests. Be as much
of a humanitarian as he is. He
might not notice the clothes you
are wearing but he loves electric
blue, stark white and all the psy
chedelic colors. Wear a light,
heady fragrance and make it
part of your aura. He will not
notice it, but it will weave its
spell all the same.
Some famous Aquarians are
Ronald Reagan, Jimmy Durante,
Paul Newman, Dean Rusk,
Charles Lindbergh and Robert
Wagner.
The Pisces man is magnetic
and sensual. He likes his home
and prefers to spend most of his
time there. Ruled by the planet
Neptune, he has an idealistic and
spiritual side to his nature, which
in some Pisceans makes for a
kind of indolence. He is reflec
tive and dreamy.
On the plus side, he is sociable,
considerable, sympathetic, loving
and attentive. He will do any
thing for you. He is artistic, fas
tidious and appreciates the lovely
things in life.
Always look beautiful and well
groomed. Dress in all the water
colors. He is a good cook and
loves good food. The Pisces man
is very romantic.
Famous Pisceans are Lord
Snowdon, Rex Harrison, David
Niven, Sidney Poitier, Rudolf
Nureyev and Jerry Lewis.
