work after a federal judge
threatened fines of $200,000 a
day against the union.
Dennis, at a news conference
at the Labor Department shortly
after U. S. District Judge John
H. Pratt found the union in con
tempt of court, aaid his back-to-
work order should end the crip
pling strike.
However, Dennis earlier had
