Operation Teenager had its be ginning in the consciences of four inmates who came to the conclu sion that serving a sentence doesn’t repay a thing. The identity of the convicts is kept secret, yet their program will be scrupulously honest. “In every case, a decisive turn was taken during the teenage years, a turn that eventually brought us to the point of ex treme crime and imprisonment,” one of the speakers maintains. The convicts point out 40 per cent of the population of the Tex as Department of Corrections is between the ages of 17 and 24. Although the program is aimed at young people, the convicts will include suggestions for parents and other adults during the pres entation.
