Club’s first night rallye ended in another victory for Detroit, with sports cars losing out 4-2. The Rallye, run in two classes — one for experts, one for nov ices, was over a course of twist ing, interesting roads, in the di rection of Navasota, bringing out the best driving skills in all the entrants. In the experts’ class, 4 cars were entered, while 19 teams of driver and navigator entered in the novice class. went to an MGB of the Guflj Team, 2nd went to a Citroj;; and 3rd place (out of 4) went; a broken-down Chevrolet of Ai Weckerling’s, lovingly referrej; as “The Heap”.
