Turkey Day Game To Be Nationally Televised
The Texas Aggies will once
again take the spotlight this year
as they face the Texas University
Longhorns in Austin on national
television.
The Thanksgiving Day game
will be the only nationally tele
vised Southwest Conference foot
ball game this year.
A&M played Southern Metho
dist University in Kyle Field Sept.
16 last year on nationwide tele
vision for the first game of the
season.
Game time is set for 2:05 p. m.,
Nov. 28.

’67 All-SWC Players
During 1967, five Texas Ag
gies were consensus choices for
all-Southwest Conference honors.
Of these five A&M football
players, only one will not return.
Honored as all-SWC players
were Bob Long, offensive end;
Edd Hargett, quarterback; Grady
Allen, defensive end; Rolf Krue
ger, defensive tackle and Bill
Hobbs, linebacker. Allen will not
be included in the 1968 Aggie
team.
The consensus squad came
from the teams published by The
Associated Press (coaches vot
ing), United Press International
(scouts voting), Dallas Morning
News (writers voting) and Dal
las Times-Herald (players vot
ing).
