Air Force Capt. Gibbs Dibrell, A&M graduate student and club instructor, said the contest be gins at 10:30 a.m. at Fannin Elementary School. are in their sixth week of in struction. Captain Dibrell said the chil dren will be paired according to height. Competition will be between fourth through sixth graders en rolled in a 10-week course organ ized by the club. Any contestant defeating five opponents will be awarded junior yellow belt status and 10 wins will result in orange belt designation. (A 5 ) _ The Tex as Liquor Control Board, alleg ing misconduct involving a con fiscated panel truck and 11 bot tles of liquor, fired its Dallas and Victoria supervisors and five Dallas inspectors Wednes day. Dismissed were Dallas district supervisor James E. Dale; Vic toria supervisor Lynn S. Burk, and Dallas inspectors R. L. Va- lenta, W. B. Groce, B. F. Rake- straw, R. C. Honeycutt and J. B. Nelms. Information regarding the case also will be turned over to the Dallas district attorney’s of fice, board Administrator Coke Stevenson Jr. said at a news con ference attended by all three board members. Stevenson said the case in volve a panel truck that was confiscated in Dallas when agents found it was being used to transport illicit beverages. Bids were taken on the truck, and a Cleburne man bought the vehicle with a high bid of $18, he said. Later, Stevenson continued, title was transferred to Dale, The administrator said 11 bottlei of confiscated liquor were traded to a painter to paint the truck, After it was used for a while for such purposes as hauling equipment to a house Dale is building on Cedar Creek Lake near Athens, Stevenson, the truck was sold for $200.
