Aggies Try To Kick Jinx
At Homecoming In Ozarks

For the first time in the 1967
football season, each and every
member of the Southwest Con
ference is playing someone in the
family. As a result there are only
four games involving conference
members.
The league leading Texas Ag
gies take to the mountains Satur
day in an attempt to bring home
the bacon and ruin the Arkansas
Razorbacks’ homecoming.
A look at history indicates a
rough afternoon in Fayetteville
for the visiting Cadets. The Pork
ers never fail to get up for the
homecoming game and have won
nine straight of the contests. In
last year’s contest the Hogs
clobbered the SMU Mustangs 22-0
for the Ponies only conference
loss.
THE GAME will be the Aggies
13th visit to an Arkansas home
coming. The Hogs lead the home
coming series 6-4 with two ties.
The Aggies, with a 7-6 win in
1967, were the last visitors to
win a Hog Homecoming. It was
also the last time the Ags downed
the Porkers.
The SMU Mustangs have taken
two straight victories from the
