Bulletin Board ‘Swap Shop 9 Has Laughs Chuckles and advertisements are free as the air on a student swap, sale or trade board in the Academic Building. Among cards listing cars, gui tars, books, pets, household furn ishings, carburetors, house trail ers and phonographs are unwit ting examples of humor. “For Sale,” one card proclaim ed. “I’m bursted. Almost new slide rule, used very little.” The first floor bulletin board also serves as a lost-found de partment. One student wrote his own epitaph: “Lost by stupid me: Engineers scale and protractor in 321 Physics. Be a good Aggie and give them back. The self- incriminating placard listed no name, address or phone number. “Is everyone getting ahead of you? Do you loose (lose?) power because of no traction ? Decrease your coefficient of slip . . .” started another sign. Its advertiser wasn’t selling hot-rodder’s tires. He was ped dling football shoes.
