C. — Two National Science Foundation grants totaling more than $115,- 000 have been awarded to Texas A&M University in support of summer institutes for college teachers, Congressman Olin Teague announced today. Congressman Teagrue said the National Science Foundation has allotted A&M $72,370 for a phys ics institute to be conducted un der the direction of Dr. J. G. Potter, head of the University’s Physics Department. Another $44,860 has been awarded to the University for establishment of an institute in computers and other sciences. This institute will be directed by Dr. W. A. Wortham, head of A&M’s Industiral Engineering Department. He is now associate professor at A&M, and is presently head of the Department of Business Analysis and Research.
