And looking ahead, plans are
being made for another victory
celebration—in Dallas.
The Dallas Aggie Former Stu
dents have taken the initiative
and are sponsoring an Aggie par
ty to equal the victory over the
Ponies in the Cotton Bowl.
John Hopkins and Bob Lynd
of the Dallas club recently met
with student leaders on the cam
pus to correlate final prepara
tions.
The party scheduled from 8
p.m. to 1 a.m. will be held in the
banquet and ballroom facilities
of the Adolphus Hotel. Admis
sion is $2 per person and two
bands will provide continuous
music with no intermission time.
“We’re making every effort to
see that this is the ideal party
with proper Aggie atmosphere,”
Lynd said. “We are presently
making preparations for 1500,
but we can easily up that fig
ure.”
Individual units (military out
fits and civilian dorms) can re
serve any number of tables and
have their group parties within
the large parties.
Parking will be no problem.
Arrangements have been made
with Adolphus management to
park cars of party guests with
out cost in their lot.

Twenty-five advanced meteor

Oklahoma City Oct. 10 to Dec. 9.
Each school’s top seven fore
