He has been secretary of the TWSWA six years. rierzik received bachelor and master of science degrees in civil engineering at A&M and was granted an M.S. in sanitary en gineering from Harvard in 1938 After service in World War II, when he attained rank of lieuten ant colonel, the association secre tary returned to the department in 1945. He holds memberships in the National Society of Professional Engineers, American Public Health Association and Water Pollution Control Federation. Warrington has been in charge of operators advisory programs as chief engineer since 1956. He received his civil engineering de gree at Texas in 1950. The four-year Navy veteran is member of the American So ciety of Civil Engineers, Water Pollution Control Federation, Texas Public Health Association, Texas Society of Professional en gineers and Texas Water Pollu tion Control Association. Awards for outstanding state municipal water and wastewater plants were presented at the ban quet by Dr. J. E. Peavy, state commissioner of health. Grad Assigned Information Post At Missile School 1st Lt. George L. Earle, of Humble, has been assigned as sistant information officer, U. S. Army Missile and Munitions Cen ter & School, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. In his new post, Earle will help direct a board informational pro gram for the 7,000 U. S. and foreign students who are trained annually at the $70,000,000 School in North Alabama. Earle was graduated from Sam Houston High School, Houston, Texas in 1958. In 1964, he was graduated from Texas A&M with a bachelor of science in both journalism and animal husbandry and later was assistant editor of the university’s agricultural ex tension publications department. He served as president of the Texas A&M chapter of Sigma Delta Chi, national journalism society, in 1962-63. Specialist To Address Ag Teachers Area 2 high school vocational agriculture teachers will hear a talk March 15 in Wall on teach ing small gasoline engine and tractor maintenance to vocational agriculture students. The speaker will be Harold T. Wiederman, Texas A&M Agri cultural Education Specialist. Hulan Harris of Big Spring, Area 2 supervisor of vocational agriculture, said the meeting is part of an in-service program planned by teachers in the dis trict. Aggies To Present TWU Panel Talk A second panel of A&M stu dents will explain what a boy expects of a girl at a Texas Woman’s presentation March 22. Heading the group will be sen ior David Graham. Other mem bers are senior John Rodgers, junior Tommy Stone, and sophomores David Gay and. Tom Bell. They will define “lady” and explain what it means, discuss introductions — including tact ful conservation and small talk— and speak on being a boy’s guest for the week-end (his responsi bilities) and having a boy as a guest for the week-end (her re sponsibilities). The Aggies will also tell the Tessies what they like and don’t like about makeup and hairdos. He received his undergraduate degree at Princeton in 1925 and after a year at the Nobel Insti tute in Stockholm returned to Princeton for his Ph.D. Follow ing years were spent as a Rocke feller Foundation Fellow study ing chemical effects of radium at the University of Moinnesota and researching gas kinetics at the Kaiser-Wilhelm Institute in Ber- lin-Dahlem. Alyea has been professor of chemistry at Princeton since. He served with the Office of Scien tific Research and Development in Washington and the Pacific during the war. He has lectured in 40 foreign countries including six months each at World Fairs in Brussels and Seattle. A Department of Chemistry open house will precede Alyea’s lecture from 4 to 6 p.m. He will lunch with Academic Year Insti tute personnel at A&M.
