Oceanographers
Set Gulf Cruise
A 4,000-mile cruise in the east
ern and western Gulf of Mexico
by Texas A&M oceanographers
will get underway Saturday.
Research Scientist John An
toine is in charge of the 27-day
Alaminos cruise in cooperation
with the Graduate Research Cen
ter of the Southwest in Dallas.
He said the research will be in
an area 400 miles long and 100
miles wide off the Mexican coast.
