Tomorrow Marks Conclusion Of Annual Firemen’s School The second phase of the 36th annual Texas Firemen’s Train ing School began Monday at Tex as A&M. Persons engaged in industrial fire protection, up to 250 of them, are studying fire preven tion, fire safety and the extin guishment of fires which could happen in industry. Instructors are from indus try and fire equipment manufac turing firms. One of the new practice field installations for the school is a two and one-half story pipe rack. Simulated flange leaks are giv ing students experience in fight ing overhead fires. The visiting firemen are fight ing pit blazes on a much larger scale than those who participated in municipal fire department training. One of the oil pits is 100 feet in diameter. Working on a rotation basis, firemen tackle six fire-fighting problems each day. Each man gets the opportunity to battle blazes in all six projects. One of the social highlights of the week was a banquet Wed nesday night at the Ramada Inn. CASH AVAILABLE FOR BOOKS, SLIDE RULES & ETC. 5,000 AGGIES CAN’T BE WRONG LOUPOT'S Naw Store Haora — 8 a. m.
