Tthe battalion College Station, Texas Page 6 Thursday, July 1, 1965 Tennis Camp Ends With Tournament One hunderd and twenty boysl and girls who attended the Texas Tennis Camp at Texas A&M are putting their newly acquired skills to work on their home, courts this week. Robbie Vickery of Fort Worth was named “outstanding boy camper” and Marsha Treadwell of Eastland “outstanding giri camper” in the week-long school which ended Saturday. Vickery has state ranking in the 14-and- under class, while Miss Treadwell has won the regional Class A High School title for the past two years and has competed in the state tournament. Tennis Professionals Tut Bart- zen of Fort Worth and Clarence Mabry of San Antonio divided the 10 to 18-year old tennis hope fuls into groups according to their talents for a tournament to end the school.
