Voluminous data on tropical rain- all in Central and South America las been gathered by A&M mete- rologists. Collecting the weather pcords from varied sources in ountries south of Mexico as part f the intensive study of tropical ainfall patterns is sponsored by he Army Signal Corps. “The work we are doing should be quite helpful to our government in selecting a site. Of course, there are many factors other than rain fall patterns,” Assistant Professor Walter K. Henry said. Also in volved in the project are Assistant •rofeSsor John F. Griffiths and nstructor L.
