Texas Open Meet Favorite

000 Texas Open, oldest tournament
on golf’s winter tour begins Thurs
day and the favorite is a mystery
man.
The biggest names—Arnold Pal
mer, Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player
and Julius Boros—are missing and
the fact that nobody has been able
to win more than one tournament
all year makes it a free-for-all.

made on or about July 1, 1964. Transfer
students must complete two full semesters
at A&M University before they are eligible
to order the A&M ring. The ring clerk
is on duty from 8:00 a. m. to 12:00 noon

Maroon thinclads will be run
ning far and wide this weekend
with a five-man squad competing
in the Drake Relays at Des
Moines, Iowa, while the remain
