A photo collection of European
and American girls is now on dis
play in the Architecture Library.
The portraits of British, French,
German, Spanish, Italian, Mexi
can, Brazilian, Cuban and U. S.
girls are part of an unfinished
album entitled "Mon Hommage A
La Femme” (My Homage to the
Female) being made by Noe Mar-
molejo.
Marmolejo, fifth year architect
ure major, has spend the past
three summers on foreign soils
studying architecture. In his stu
dies of beautiful structures he has
always admired the female as be
ing most eye appealing. Hence
he has devoted his extra time to
studying and photographing the
opposite sex.
He believes the Italian girls to
be the most beautiful. You find
that they fall for you very easy
but they will just as easy drop
you, he added.
Radio Executive
Escapes Shooting
DALLAS 65*) — Dallas police
said Wednesday night a woman
shot at a man at the municipal air
port in the belief that her target
was radio executive Gordon Mc
Lendon.
McLendon, who owns and op
erates radio stations in several
cities, is currently seeking the
Democratic nomination for U. S.
Senator to succeed incumbent Sen.
Ralph Yarborough, D-Tex.
Police Lt. E. L. Cunningham de
scribed the 47-year-old Dallas wid
ow as "pretty well emotionally dis
turbed.” He quoted her as say
ing she was a free lance writer.
According to Detective Harvey
Totten, the woman said she wanted
to shoot McLendon because “He
is a communist.”
HE LABELS THE SPANISH
senoritas as “the most feminine
of all.” They are really conscious
of their beauty, and their men are
great admirers. A pretty girl
walking along the Grand Via is
greeted by admirers with flowery
sayings complimenting her on her
beauty, explains Marmolejo. The
girls expect these compliments,
called “piropos,” but must not
show reciprocating feeling.
"Most sophisticated are Player
French girls,” he said. They Jennie Le
