Triple Twins Bring Confusion, Humor If there is anything to the con fusion that identical twins are sup posed to cause, business professors had better work on increasing their tolerance. There are three sets of identical twins in a freshman busi ness administration class. Coincidence doesn’t stop there. Both boys of two sets are on ath letic scholarships, and they are from Houston. One duet from Houston had the exact same col lege entrance test scores. And for another “and,” the father of two of the students was the original coach of the Houston Oilers. The third set will have to be content with being just plain identical twins. Pat and Mike Rymkus, sons of the first Oiler coach, are playing fish football and the Sidman bro thers, Don and Judson, are active with the swimming team. George and Thomas South figure in to triple any confusion. THE Tuesday, November 5, 1963 BATTALION College Station, Texas Page 3 Police School Sees Counterfeiting Film A firm-lecture on counterfeit ing was presented at the A&M University police training school Friday by Lane Bertram of Hous ton, a supervising agent with the United States Secret Service. Bertram told the officers that Area Jaycees Sponsor Film About Politics A film entitled “Freedom in Ac tion” was shown at the meeting of the Bryan-College Station Junior Chamber of Commerce Thursday, pointing out the dangers of politi cal apathy on the parts of citizens of the United States, reported Sam Sharp, who was in charge of the meeting. The film was shown before an audience composed of members of the Brazos County Bar Associa tion, the Business and Professional Women’s Club, the Junior Chamber of Commerce, the Kiwanis Club, the Lions Club and the Rotary Club. Sharp said that the film showed the importance and power of the precinct on the American political scene. This film is the first in a series of five which the Jaycees are plan ning to show. The other films are “Freedom and Fairness,” which deals with competition and free enterprise; “Our Constitutional Re public,” which deals with the ori gin of the principles on which the United States was founded; “The Nature of Freedom,” which shows that personal freedoms are insep arable from economic freedoms, and “Protecting Freedom with Ac tion,” which shows that the power of the government comes from the people. The Jaycees will keep this film for two weeks and anyone who has the facilities may contact an offi cer of the Jaycees and show the film, Sharp said. the amount of counterfeit money being circulated today is less than one one-hundredth of one per cent, as compared with one of three dollars in 1865 when the federal agency was established. The speaker also said the in troduction of electronic equipment will help curb illegal check cash ing throughout the United States. Handwriting samples can be sent to district offices in a matter of seconds. Bertram urged the policemen to contact a district office when a person is caught cashing a bad check or when one is passed. “In most cases,” he said, “this perosn is working with a large group, and our office may be look ing for the same person.” Bertram showed the students how to identify counterfeit bills and discussed other types of il legal and forged instruments.
