A&M STATISTICS
Ford Keeps Rushing Lead;
LaGrange Tops Passers
Aggie statistics after six games
show very little to brag about ex
cept maybe Jim Keller’s punting.
Figures aren’t available, but it’s
very possible that the senior from
Terrell is leading the nation in
number of punts.
Keller has kicked 41 times for
1,703 yards and a 41.6 average.
Ten of those punts came against
Baylor Saturday.
Aggie defensive halfback Mike
Pitman intercepted three passes
against the Bears to give him four
for the season and move into a
tie for the conference leadership
in interceptions.
