The selection of Vanity Fair
winners Friday night, and the sen
ior Ring Dance Saturday topped
off the last big weekend before
students settle down to study for
finals.
At the annual Student Publica
tion’s Banquet, members of the
A&M Press Club, and guests chose
the six Vanity Fair winners for
the ’63 Aggieland.
Selected were Kay Olsen, Carla
Bush, Linda Salm, Lynda Ash
craft, Susan Newkirk and Geneva
Billings.
Also presented at the banquet
were awards to outgoing editors
and keys to staff members. Ken „
Stanton was awarded the Battalion
Award for outstanding service dur
ing the year.
| The annual Senior Ring Dance
was held in Sbisa Hall Saturday
night climaxing the social year
for the class of ’63. Buddy Brock
and his orchestra furnished dance
music for the affair. Vanity Fair
winners were announced and tra
ditional ring pictures were taken.
