THE BATTALION
BENEFIT PERFORMANCE
"Best Of Players 9 Planned.
Wednesday In Guion Hall
The Aggie Players will present
a special benefit performance,
“The Best of the Players,” at 8
p.m. Wednesday in Guion Hall.
The show was scheduled so that
proceeds can be used to help pay
hospitalization expenses recently
incurred by the David G. Wood
cock family.
Shortly after the birth of their
first child, Mrs. Woodcock was
rushed to Houston in April for
a major brain operation.
Woodcock is a Fulbright profes
sor and resident of Manchester,
England who joined the Division
of Architecture faculty in Sept
ember.
“The great expense of surgery,
plus the prolonged treatment, caus
ed great hardship on our guests
from England,” Graham Horsley,
assistant professor of architecture
said.
Included in the benefit show will
be two short scenes from “The
Imaginary Invalid,” a play satiriz
ing doctors and centered around
an elderly hypochondriac. One of
the works of 17th Century French
playwright and actor Moliere,
“The Imaginary Invalid” was pre
sented earlier this spring.

Summer’s coming, get going I]
If this isn’t a great time to get yourself
a new Chevrolet-well, we just don’t
know when is. Why, you’d almost have
to be anti-summer not to let one of
these four convertibles
get to you. Or any of
Chevrolet’s sedans,
wagons, sport coupes
and sport sedans, for
that matter.
And there are a lot
of other buy-now
reasons besides the
season. Like the care
free feeling you get on
AT YOUR CHEVROLET DEALERS
a long vacation trip in a brand-new car,
And it’s a smart time to trade, what
with your Chevrolet dealer all stocked
up for a busy summer. Chances are, he
has just the model
and color you want
—be it Chevrolet,
Chevy II, Corvair or
Corvette—ready to go
right now.
So maybe now
you’re all wound up?
Then spring into
summer at your
Chevrolet dealer’s.
