Thirty - four National Football
League games were decided by

St happened before.
No one likes to remember it, but few can forget.
The date was May 10, 1962, and the Texas Longhorns
were at bat in the bottom of the tenth inning—an inning
that should never have been.
The Steers’ Gary London cracked a two-out double to
right-centerfield, bringing in the run that won the game
11-10 and captured the Southwest Conference baseball crown.
The race went down to the last game with the winner
wearing the championship.
It could happen again this year—the Aggie vs. the
’Horns in the do-or-die game, in Austin.
Only two things can keep this from happening: the team
and YOU, the fan.
The men who take the field wearing the Maroon and
White are a good team. They can win it. But they need the
support of each and every Aggie, in person.
The picture looks like this :
A&M and UT played a 5-5 tie in the opening game.
Under, SWC rules, the game will have to be replayed at the
original site (Austin) if it has a bearing on the title.
And at the halfway mark of conference competition, the
chances are good that it will have to be played.
There is only one sure way that the Cadets can avoid
this playoff and a recurrence of the 1962 heartbreaker. A&M
must finish its play one and a half games ahead of the other
five teams.
This means that the Maroons will have to win all seven
games remaining on the schedule.
Following a two-game series with the Rice Owls this
weekend, A&M starts the stretch run with a game against
the Horned Frogs Tuesday. Then Baylor hosts the Ags in a
pair May 3 and 4 and the finish comes against the Longhorns
in Kyle Field, May 10 and 11.
We see no reason why the stands *bf Kyle Field cannot
be just as full for the TCU tilt Tuesday as they always are
for the Texas games.
Let’s see standing room only for the remaining home
games and a good representation at the road games.
Show that Aggie Spirit! Support the baseball team!

Does a man really take unfair advantage of women
when he uses Mennen Skin Bracer?
All depends on why he uses it.
Most men simply think Menthol-Iced Skin Bracer is the best
after-shave lotion around. Because it cools rather than burns.
Because it helps heal shaving nicks and scrapes. Because it
helps prevent blemishes.
So who can blame them if Bracer's crisp, long-lasting aroma
just happens to affect women so remarkably?
Of course, some men may use Mennen Skin Bracer because
of this effect. .
