Kollie White Coliseum. Lenox hit 10 field goals and 15 of 17 free throws to fall two points short of Carroll Broussard’s record of 37. A disappointing crowd of 4,000 was not disappointed in the game as both squads moved the ball well, hustled and generally gave the fans a fast-moving, interesting, close contest. The Ponies jumped out to a fast 14-6 lead, making good on their first six shots and two foul shots. The Aggies closed the gap on two jump shots by Paul Timmins for a 16-16 tie.
