Chicks, Ferris Wheel
Stop Students In MSC
An exhibit with two dozen
baby chicks and a miniature
Ferris Wheel has caught eyes of
students in the Memorial Stu
dent Center.
The baby chicks, strictly an
eyecatcher, unintentionally pull
all sorts of antics.
The seats of the electrically-
operated Ferris Wheel are filled
with feed.
“If the chick is smart,” one
of the FFA members said, “it
will jump on the seat and eat.”
That’s only part of the prob
lem, however.
When the chick has eaten his
fill, the next test is to get off
when the seat is closest to the
ground. Some depart the re
volving wheel several inches,
from the floor—not high enough
to do any harm, however.
