Starting signal-caller for the Fish will be either Eddie McKaug- han, who started against Baylor, or Ira Hillyer. Quarterback for the Kittens will be Morris Wilson. Other probable starters for the Fish will be Larry Bates and Har old Fletcher at ends, Tom Over- street and Ray Patterson at tackles, Tom Murrah and Joe Wellborn at guards and Jim Singleton at center. THE KITTENS will feature cen ter John Tewes, tackles Ray Dud ley and Calvin Enderli, and guard Bobby Muniz. Halfback Mike Spratt leads Houston in rushing, gaining 272 yards in two games. Spratt ran for 233 yards and two touchdowns against Kilgore. The Kittens are coached by Car- roll Schultz. Leading ground gainer for the Fish is halfback Jim Stabler, who has 54 yards in seven carries. Top Fish passer is Bob Dosher, who has hit nine out of 20 for two touchdowns and 141 yards. Varsity Basketball Roster Names Experience-Filled Team Coach Bob Rogers’ 1962-63 var sity basketball roster lists seven lettermen and an equal number of men proven in varsity, junior college or freshman competition. Seven-footer Lewis Qualls, Jim Keller and Jerry Windham are sen iors who own two varsity letters each. Windham, a 6-6, 213-pounder from Hamilton, has been a consist ent standout at rebounding for two years.-Keller will be late getting started for his present obligations are as quarterback on the grid squad.
