The weekend began at the TWU
SUB where the girls met their
dates for the weekend and were
officially introduced by student
body social activities chairman
Lynn Gresham.
A picnic, scheduled in Lowery
Woods at noon, had to be called off
because of rain, but the event was
moved to the basement of the
SUB, where the afternoon was
spent playing ping pong, shooting
pool and dancing.
A dinner was scheduled for the
group early Saturday evening,
then the girls changed into formals
for the dance at 8 p.m. in Rayor
Hall. The dance lasted until after
midnight, with each girl being re-

The Sweetheart, Miss Parks, is
a sophomore household arts and
sciences major. Last year she was
