Walker, ar rested in the Oxford, Miss., riot ing, should not be released on bail. The show cause order, which the government must answer next Tuesday, was issued by Judge John W. Oliver after Wal ter’s attorneys had filed a peti tion for a writ of habeas corpus. Walker is charged with incit ing insurrection and seditious conspiracy. His bond was set at S100,000 in Oxford and then be was flown here for detention at the U. S.
