Summer storage facilities will
be offered to students this year in
the basement of Dormitory 3 and
Ramp A of Walton Hall. Starting
Monday, May 28, 4 to 5 p.m., and
Tuesday, May 29 through Satur
day, June 2, 11 to 12 a.m. and 4
to 5 p.m., items will be accepted
for storage, according to Bennie
A. Zinn, director of the Depart
ment of Student Affairs.
Zinn reminded students that
storage is at the student’s own
risk, but that all efforts will be
made to insure their safety.

been selected for the Air Force Of
ficer’s Training School at Lack-
land Air Force Base in San An
tonio.
Upon completion of three
months of training at Lackland, in
the pay grade of staff sergeant,
they will be commissioned as sec
ond lieutenants in the active Air
Force, according to M!/Sgt. How
ard Rasmussen, local Air Force re
cruiter.

Students now living in college
dormitories must remove all per
sonal belongings by 6 p.m., Satur
day, June 2. All dormitories not to
be used for the summer sessions
will be locked at that time, ac
cording to Harry L. Boyer, hous
ing manager.
Those students who wish to se
cure their refund on key deposits
must do so at the Housing Office
in the YMCA Building before leav
ing school. A key deposit receipt
and the key are required to se
cure the $1 refund. Students at
tending summer school may swap
keys and secure their refund at
the end of the summer session.

Chairmen Named

named Wednesday for the annual
A&M leadership conference, on
schedule Sept. 7-9 at Lakeview
Methodist Assembly near Pales
tine, Tex.
Fred K. Blackard, ’63 from Mt.
Pleasant, and Hugh Magers, ’63
from Abilene, have been named
co-chairmen. Mike Dodge, ’64 from
Austin, will serve as vice chair
man.
The conference will be attended
by representatives of all SWC
schools in Region Nine of the As
sociation of College Unions.
