A&M Rodeo Date Two Weeks Away
A&M’s annual National Inter
collegiate Rodeo will be held in the
Rodeo Arena May 10, 11, and 12,
starting each night at 8.
The rodeo is open to interested
students from Texas colleges.
Clyde Martin, foi’mer rodeo per-
formei\ will judge and Doyle Mc-
Spadden, another performer, will
assist him.
According to Lynn Turner, rodeo

Reunion Scheduled
To Start Friday
Over 150 members of the Class
of ’32, now 517 strong, have pre
registered for their 30th anni
versary reunion to be held here
Friday and Saturday, according to
Mrs. W. M. Shepperd, class secre
tary for the Former Students
Association.
After registration in the Birch
Room of the Memorial Student
Center from 1-7 p.m. Friday, the
class will kick off its fourth re
union at the A&M-TCU baseball
game in Kyle Field.
Saturday’s activities will include
a tour of the campus at 10 a.m.,
a men’s business meeting’ and
coffee at 3 p.m. in Rooms 2A and
2B of the MSC and a ladies bridge
and tea party at the same time in
Rooms 2C and 2D.
On the tour Saturday, the
former students and their wives
will have a chance to see how the
campus has changed since their
1957 reunion.

Alvin R. Luedecke, general man
ager of the U. S. Atomic Energy
Commission; Congressman Olin E.
Teague; James W. Foley, president
of Texaco Inc.; former Gen. Graber

The balloting produced several
unusual aspects, mainly due to the
fact that 30 write-in candidates
received votes, one write-in candi
date was a winner and the excep
tionally large number of candi
dates who received majority votes
and won the right to office with
out run-off.

Grad Seminar
Set For Friday
Dr. H. O. Hartley, professor of
statistics in the Statistical Labora
tory and Department of Statistics,
Iowa State University, will lecture
at a graduate seminar Friday at
2 p.m. in the faculty room, Richard
Coke Building.
Hartley is a leading statistician
on “Balanced. Experimental De
signs.”
Hartley was scientific officer of
Scientific Computing Service Ltd.,
London, from 1938-46. He was in
charge of planning and supervision
of large scale computational work.
Hartley is currently leader in
charge of off-campus contracts by
Iowa State University with the
Office of Ordnance Research, Na
tional Aeronautics and Space Ad
ministration and Army Research
Office.
